Six Weeks–Twelve Months

Leaving your child in the care of another person is a big step. However with Hands to Minds Early Learning Center, you can rest assured that your child will be safe in our hands and receive quality care. Our infant program encourages our youngest learners to feel safe and supported so they can explore and learn through their environment. Our program includes rich and engaging activities to encourage discovery and appropriate development. We will work with parents to create a smooth transition into our infant program and provide the best care.

One and Two-Year-Old's

Our toddler program is split among three classrooms: young one-year old’s, older one-year old’s, and two-year old’s. This allows the classrooms to meet our students’ developmental needs by focusing on age appropriate goals and skills. Our toddler program uses the Highscope Curriculum that focuses on six content areas:

1. Approaches to Learning

2. Social and Emotional Development

3. Physical Development and Health

4. Communication, Language, and Literacy

5. Cognitive Development

6. Creative Arts 

Young Three-Year-Old's

Our Early Preschool Program is designed for our young three-year-old students. This program is based on the Highscope Curriculum and helps lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. Our Early Preschool Program focuses on: social and emotional development, routines, cognitive development, communication, fine and gross motor skills; all of which contribute to teaching the whole child. We focus on developing relationships. Our goal is for your child to feel safe and secure within their learning environment. Your child will engage in many hands-on activities to learn through their environment, play, and discovery.

Three and Four-year-old's

Our preschool program is designed for three and four-year old’s. This program is the start of using the Learning Without Tears: Get Set for School Curriculum. This curriculum was designed by an occupational therapist and teaches children through multiple styles of learning. The program follows a developmental progression with scaffolding incorporated to meet our learners in their current development and help them grow. This unique learning curriculum is research-based and expert-backed. In addition to the curriculum and caring staff, your child will receive a high-quality early childhood education, preparing them for a bright future. 

Pre-Kindergarten 

Hands to Minds Early Learning Center offers a Pre-K program for students who will be going to kindergarten the following school year. This program ensures school readiness by preparing your child with the Learning Without Tears: Get Set for School Curriculum, which delivers a multi-disciplinary learning experience. Our Pre-K students will engage in developmentally appropriate activities to prepare them for a future of academic success.   

School Age

For our families who have children attending K-5 schools, we offer before and after school care. Our teachers and staff will assist with homework and studying as well as engage your children with interesting activities while in our care. During summer break, we will offer an action-packed summer with fun and assorted activities. School-age students will get to participate in many adventures brought to the center by community vendors such as: Kona Ice, a petting zoo, pottery, STEAM show, and so much more!
